SIS Design, Engineering, I&C and Validation
The design and engineering of safety instrumented systems requires use of regular control system engineering skills, supplemented by some activities that may not be so familiar to control system designers. This course will provide an overview of the additional checks and activities required for SIS design. The course also includes information on SIS equipment selection, techniques for hardware and software verification, plus installation, commissioning and validation basics.
